Celebrating 31 years in Downtown Phoenix, the Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival is a historic staple of the City of Phoenix and has entertained over 3 million attendees. Enjoy music, Lucha libre, Baile Folklorico, great food and drink, and activities for the entire family. Towards the end of the night Arvizu Scholarships are given out to incoming freshman of GCU!

El Grito, is a celebration for Mexican Independence Day! This celebration is a day filled with local traditional food, arts and crafts vendors, ballet folkorico, Lucha libre, and mariachis. There will also be performances from known local bands. As well as ending the night with a traditional Grito from the Mexican Consul.

Somos Peoria, is a multicultural festival celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. This city-sponsored event takes place in Old Town Peoria and you and your family can enjoy many different activities. We offer both national and local entertainment, local traditional foods, beers, and margaritas. You can also shop for arts and crafts and enjoy watching Ballet Folkorico, Lucha Libre, Mariachis, and a classic low-rider car show. Towards the end of the night, Arvizu Scholarships are given out to incoming freshmen of GCU!

The Annual Healthy Fall Festival offers many different healthcare vendors a chance to reach the community where they are able to perform healthcare services. You can also enjoy music played by a DJ, a kid’s area, as well as a 1,000 turkey giveaway.
